Believing about something is not the same as believing in something. If you really believe in something, you will commit to it. If you commit to something, then your actions will prove it — you will behave accordingly.

God, from the outset and for generations, has made it know that to believe in Him means to obey Him in spite of anyone who may attempt to persuade us to the contrary; therefore, our obedience to God is what proves we believe in God.

Anyone inside or outside the Bible who says a believer should not obey God anymore is an adversary to God and to all those who believe in the God of Israel.
